COmmunion (Sacrament or the Lords Supper)
What is it: When we take the elements of the bread and wine (juice) we remember the sacrifice of Christ and the great love of God that was poured out on our behalf. This is a time to remember, recommit, reflect and commune with God.
Who can take it: you do not have to be a member of Salt City Underground in order to take the elements. We only ask you believe in Jesus.
How do I take it: wait for the instructions of the person leading, they will give clear instructions
Scripture:
"The Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread, 24 and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” 25 In the same way, after supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of me.” 26 For whenever you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes."
1 Corinthians 11:23b-26 NIV
