A two-day event designed to help you live with boldness, clarity, and courage in your everyday life. Featuring teaching from Jamie Winship, powerful worship with Stephen McWhirter, and practical tools for living out your faith — this weekend will equip you to trade fear for freedom and step fully into the identity Jesus gives.

Whether you're a lifelong believer, exploring faith, or somewhere in between — you are welcome here.
Full Event Description
What would happen if you truly listened to God’s voice? What if you stepped into your true identity and lived on mission without fear? Jesus said in John 17:3, “Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.”

Living Fearless with Jesus is about more than information—it’s about transformation. This conference is a call to truly know God, not just know about Him. To follow Christ, be changed by Christ, and on mission with Christ (Mt 4:19).

Living Fearless with Jesus is also more than just another event—it’s a call to action. This gathering is designed for those who are ready to raise their sails, hear God’s voice, and follow His call into the unknown. We believe God is stirring something powerful—an organic movement of transformation that grows like yeast through dough, quietly multiplying, yet ultimately impossible to ignore. And just like Jesus said, we’re called to shine, like a city on a hill, so that others might see and be drawn to Him.

What to Expect:
🔥 Jamie Winship will lead us in powerful sessions on discovering your true identity in Christ and stepping into the bold faith God calls us to.
🔥 Live teaching and God stories from people in the field who are making disciples of Jesus in real-world movements.
🔥 Practical training on making disciples, Gospel conversations, Discovery Bible Study (DBS), and how to activate everyday people in ordinary life to live out their faith.
🔥 A movement of prayer, worship, and community as we seek God for revival in our cities.

We are believing for 100 disciple makers to be commissioned at this event, prepared to disciple others and spark a movement that extends far beyond this weekend.

Are you ready to step into your God-given mission?
Who is this for?

You are 100% welcome. We expect attendees from a variety of backgrounds, including many who are LDS, former LDS, or simply spiritually curious. We want this to be a safe, meaningful space for you to explore more of Jesus without pressure or confrontation. That said, we know and deeply respect that many of our LDS friends also value Jesus, family, and personal spiritual growth and we’d love to have you join us.
Can I come to just part of the event?
We highly recommend attending the entire conference to get the full experience, but you’re welcome to attend whichever portions you're able to. Each session builds on the one before.
Can My Church Bring a Group
Absolutely, we’d love that! Group sign-up and promo kits are available. Email us at dmurphy@saltcityunderground.org if you want to partner with us in promoting the event.
What is Salt City Underground?
Salt City Underground is a grassroots Jesus movement in the Salt Lake Valley, made up of everyday people learning to follow Jesus and live their faith out loud.

We gather in homes, parks, and everyday spaces — not because we’re against buildings, but because we believe the Church is meant to be simple, relational, and woven into the fabric of real life. We call it “underground” because it grows beneath the surface — quietly, steadily, and powerfully — like the early church in the book of Acts.

Our heartbeat is to raise up people who live as everyday missionaries — not professionals, but ordinary believers who carry hope into their families, workplaces, neighborhoods, and cities. Some might call it outreach. Others might say it’s just living with purpose. For us, it’s simply being disciples of Jesus who make disciples.

Some of us still attend traditional church services. Others don’t. What unites us is a desire to know Jesus deeply and live on mission with Him, together.

If you're spiritually curious, hungry for something more real, or looking for a way to integrate faith into everyday life, Salt City Underground might be what you've been searching for.

Jeff McCullough is a pastor, communicator, and the creator of Hello Saints a YouTube channel and media project that offers thoughtful, respectful, and gospel-centered engagement between evangelical Christians and members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

With a heart for curiosity and clarity, Jeff stepped into a bold experiment in 2021: to immerse himself in LDS culture, visit temples and wards, read LDS scripture, and engage in meaningful conversations — not to win debates, but to build bridges. His transparent, honest approach has opened up dialogue across faith boundaries and has gained a significant following from both Christians and Latter-day Saints seeking genuine understanding.
