In this episode, Jamie Winship shares how God builds extraordinary teams out of ordinary people who are willing to listen and obey. Through stories from high-risk missions and everyday life, Jamie shows how men and women who know their identity in Christ and stay attentive to God’s voice can become part of something far bigger than themselves.

Drawing from the story of David and his mighty men in 1 Samuel 22:1–2 and 2 Samuel 23, Jamie reflects on how God gathered a group of people who were “in distress, in debt, and discontented” and transformed them into the strongest fighting force in Israel. What began as a group of unlikely, overlooked people became a powerful team shaped by God’s presence, purpose, and leadership.

This session invites us to see that God is still working the same way today. He forms courageous, resilient, Spirit-led teams not from the impressive or the polished, but from ordinary people who choose to trust Him, walk in obedience, and grow together.
